quisiera me tranquilizaba y no me apetecía tanto… Una estupidez! Deshaceros de
todo el tabaco que tengáis! Jajajaja fuera tentaciones!!!
Tengo muchas esperanzas :)

Hi!!!
Today I felt like sharing my experience quitting
smoking. It’s not the first time I quit and don’t even know if it will be the
last one but if sharing my experience I can help someone to quit way better!!
Today it has been exactly 53 days since the day
I decided to quit smoking and I am really proud!
As I mentioned this is not the first time I try
to quit (the last time I got to be more than a year without smoking ... but that
is no good because I came to vice)
I want to tell you some things that are helping
me to quit this time!
The first thing is that you have to want to quit. Even if you have made the decision if
there is not a real desire, from the inside, that you want to quit, you will
not be able to (maybe a small percentage
of people can, but is not the usual).
You have to be sure of your decision and then,
bring it forward strongly!
The first few days is really important to have
willpower and to be able to substitute tabaco with another thing. For example;
if you are used to having a cigarette while waiting for the bus to arrive, try
to get distracted that while, call a friend o play something on your mobile.
You must try to do things that will make you forget about cigarettes!
If you get a craving you must have something in
mind in order to avoid that feeling quickly!! I remember years ago a friend of mine was quitting and told us that
whenever she craved a cigarette she imagined herself swallowing the contents of
an ashtray and that way detracted desire instantly!! (The truth that it is
disgusting...)
In my case, when I feel like having a cigarette,
I think of all the diseases that I am more likely going to suffer if I continue
smoking, and not even just for me and my health but, I think that because I am
being selfish, not wanting to stop smoking, I could get sick and then I think
in the pain this will lead to my family, so the thought blows away the desire!!!
Specially ant the beginning, I suggest not be
with smokers, the first few days it is best to be in an environment where we
would tabaco see as little as possible in order to not have temptations.
A few years ago I thought that having cigarettes
when quitting it was the best idea. I thought that if at some point I was
really craving one, knowing that I had some relaxed me and then I would not
have it…bullshit! Get rid of all the tabaco you have! Hahaha bye bye
temptations!!!
Right now this is what is helping me and to be
honest I must say that this time It has been easier for me, maybe because I am
determined to take care of myself, maybe because it is way to hot here to be
thinking of inhaling smoke…
In a few weeks I will give you an update!! :)
